Pleasantview Estate and Events Venue Policies

1. Venue deposits are non-refundable.

2. We require that all guests are fully vaccinated to attend our venue.

3. Refundable damage deposit of $1000.

4. The renter will have one day prior to the event to do decorating and arranging.

5. No music is allowed after 10:00 pm, and output sound must be at a reasonable level.

6. Food prep, serving, and cleanup must be perform by caterer or booking party.

7. No vehicle may be left overnight.

8. Any intoxicated guests are the responsibility of the booking party.

9. If any items/equipment is left behind, the booking party will have 24 hrs. to retrieve those items, or they will be disposed of at the discretion of Pleasantview Estate.

10. We allow two hrs. set up time before the event.

11. An adult must accompany children at all times (especially in and around the pool area).

12. No inflatable slides or bounce houses will be allowed on the property.

13. We are a non-smoking venue.

14. All third-party activities and entertainment must provide proof of insurance.

15. Payment to vendors hired by the booking party must be made directly to the vendors and not Pleasantview Estate.

16. All persons associated with the event must comply with the policies outlined.

17. Pleasantview Estate reserve the right to take and use photos of your event for promotional purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When can I take a tour

    Monday through Friday, just complete the form on the ‘Contact Us’ page, and indicate the day/time, and we’ll confirm by return email.

  • Who can I bring

    All pertinent parties/decision makers, event planners, wedding coordinators, etc.



  • Can I book the venue during the tour?

    Yes, you can reserve a date. We can hold your date for five days to give you the opportunity to ensure that we are the right venue for you. On the sixth day, a deposit (non-refundable) along with a signed rental agreement will be required to secure the date.

  • Can I arrange a meeting with the vendors at the estate

    Yes, we request that you schedule your meetings no more than two days in the same week.

  • Can I have my dog at my ceremony?

    Yes, if the dog is a part of the ceremony, the dog will be allowed to stay for one hour after the ceremony for photos, at which time the dog will have to be on a leash.

  • What about inclement weather?

    A tent is included in the package (rain or shine) with sidewalls for 100 guests or more; for, less than 100, our Pool House Garage is always available.



  • Do I need an event/wedding coordinator?

    We strongly recommend that you have a coordinator/planner for your event to help facilitate between vendors, guests, and the venue staff. They will also help with keeping your event on schedule.

  • How early can we access the venue?

    You can access the venue the day before the event as long as there is no other event scheduled for that day, or five hours prior to the event.

  • Do you provide lodging?

    No, but we have a list of recommended hotels, all within 15 minutes of the venue, that you can check out the list on the hotel page.

  • Are there other events at the venue on the same day?

    No, you and your guests will have exclusive use of our 20-acre Estate.

  • Do you have an in-house caterer?

    No, we work with all licensed and insured caterers of your choice. We can also recommend caterers we work with on a regular basis.



  • What if I want to provide my own food for my guests rather than have it catered?

    As long as the food is pre-cooked, you must provide your own chafing/warming units. 

  • Is alcohol permitted?

    Yes! For beer, wine, and liquor, we recommend having a bartender to serve your guests.

  • What time must the music end?

    In accordance with county ordinances, the music must end at 10:00 pm.

  • What about bathroom facilities?

    We have two and three-stall luxury bathroom trailers.

  • Is there smoking at the venue?

    We are a non-smoking venue.
